New Hajj Induction Course Centers Opened in Kano State

The Director -General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has directed all Hajj Induction Course instructors across the state to resume the daily training sessions at their respective centers starting Monday, 7th April 2025.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u made this announcement through a statement signed and made available to newsmen by Abdullahi Sulaiman Dederi Board Public Relations officer, said shortly before departing for Saudi Arabia to finalize arrangements for the intending pilgrims from Kano State.

The Director General also revealed that, due to the high number of intending pilgrims, the Board has established additional induction centers, bringing the total number of centers to sixteen (16).

The centers include those located in:
Gwarzo, Dala, Kumbotso, Ungogo, Bichi, Wudil, Gezawa, Kura, and Rano local government areas.

Additional centers are located in
Tudun-Wada, Doguwa, Sumaila, Rimin-Gado, Rogo, the School for Arabic Studies, and the Center for Qur’anic Studies specifically for female pilgrims.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u urged all intending pilgrims to take the induction courses seriously in order to properly learn how to perform their Hajj rites correctly and without errors.
