Military Airstrikes Pound Bandits’ Camps in Katsina, Neutralize 19

In a decisive blow against insurgency, the air component of Operation Fansa Yamma has destroyed key bandit hideouts in Unguwar Goga Hillforest, Faskari LGA, Katsina State. The strikes, launched in the early hours of March 13, targeted camps belonging to notorious bandit leaders Gero (Alhaji) and Alhaji Riga.

At least 19 bandits were neutralized, with intelligence suggesting more casualties in the rocky terrain. The duo, linked to repeated attacks along the Funtua-Gusau highway, have long terrorized communities.
