Renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Dr. Aminu Abdullahi Yammawa has accepted an invitation to debate followers of the ‘Qur’aniyyun’ sect in Katsina over interpretations of the Quran and Hadiths.

The debate, triggered by Sheikh Yammawa’s stance on Hajj timings based on Suratul-Baqarah, will be a high-stakes discussion between mainstream Islamic teachings and the ‘Qur’aniyyun’ belief in using only the Quran for guidance.
