Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON , Fnipr ( Kauran Daular Usmaniyya ) the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has approved the appointment of Umar Mohammed Shira as the new Managing Director of Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC).
The decision reflects the Governor’s confidence in the leadership capabilities, vast experience, and dedication of Umar Mohammed Shira in the media and communications sector. As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in media management and broadcasting, Shira is well-equipped to reposition BRC for greater efficiency, professionalism, and public service excellence.
A statement issued by the Special Advisor on Media and Publicity to the Governor Mukhatar Gidado says
Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his belief that the new Managing Director will leverage his wealth of experience to enhance the corporation’s role as a credible source of information, education, and entertainment for the people of Bauchi State and beyond.
The Bauchi State Government urges all staff and stakeholders of Bauchi Radio Corporation to support the new Managing Director in his mandate to improve the station’s operations and service delivery.
The appointment takes immediate effect .
