The Special Adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Employment and Promotion, Alhaji Yau Noa, has pledged to collaborate with the Funtua Unity Foundation to enhance job opportunities for youth.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the association’s chairman, Comrade Mannir Mohd Sulaiman, in Katsina, Alhaji Noa emphasized the need for synergy between his department and the foundation to identify and support young people with potential skills.
He noted that many job opportunities in security agencies, including the police, army, and paramilitary forces, have been lost due to a lack of awareness on how to apply. He assured that his office would work closely with the Funtua Unity Foundation to ensure that Funtua benefits from employment initiatives provided by both state and federal governments.
Earlier, Comrade Mannir Sulaiman highlighted the foundation’s mission to promote unity, development, education, health, and humanitarian services in Funtua. He reiterated the association’s commitment to working with both governmental and non-governmental organizations for the progress of the area.
While commending the state government’s urban modernization projects, he urged residents to support government programs and policies for the collective benefit of the community.
