The election for new leadership of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) , Jigawa State Chapter has been described as orderly, peaceful, and commendable achievement.
The Chairman of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Jigawa State Chapter, Comrade Abubakar Garba Shitu, stated this after the election held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Comrade Shitu expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Jigawa State for his continuous support and cooperation with the union’s activities.
He also highlighted the presence and active participation of Local Government Chairmen from Jigawa State in the election process.
Also speaking , the Chairman of Gwaram Local Government and also the Chairman of the Association of Local Government Chairmen in Jigawa State, Professor Abdurrahman Salim Isawa emphasized that the collaboration between government leaders and union members had continued to foster sustainable progress and urged the newly elected leaders to be responsible representatives and to lead the union with integrity and dedication.

Comrade Aliyu Haruna Kankara – National President of NULGE and Comrade Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo from Kano – Deputy National President for North-East Zone.
