The Federal Capital Territory FCT Police Command has rescued a woman found unconscious with her legs tied and mouth taped in a hotel room in Abuja.
According to police sources, the distressing discovery was made after hotel staff noticed unusual activity in the room and alerted authorities. Upon arrival, officers forced entry and found the victim in a critical state, suggesting she had been restrained for hours.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Investigations have commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident, with authorities reviewing CCTV footage and interrogating hotel staff and guests.
