El-Rufai Fires Back: “I Never Wanted a Tinubu Government Role”

#Zulum238Projects #Term2 Focus: Education (54 Projects) Zulum's 5th year in office, consolidating on sterling 4 years of the first tenure. “1,195 Projects and Counting.” Series on 238 projects in the first year of the second tenure of Governor Zulum.

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has set the record straight on why he is not part of President Tinibu’s administration, dismissing claims by political allies of the government.

In a scathing post on X, El-Rufai addressed Daniel Bwala, emphasizing that he was a cabinet minister 22 years ago and had made it clear to Asiwaju that he had no interest in any position in his government.

“The pathetic manner all of you latter-day converts to the Tinubu government make an issue of something I never wanted in the first place is a reflection of your moral flexibility,” he wrote.

El-Rufai further stated that had he remained in the administration, he would have raised concerns about the state of the APC—a party he helped found—both privately and publicly.
