Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has pledged to deliver elections that reflect the true will of the people in the forthcoming local government polls. Addressing an All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus meeting at the Presidential Banquet Hall, Radda urged party stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilization and ensure total victory through transparent and inclusive electoral processes.
“We remain committed to upholding democracy by conducting elections that resonate with the genuine choices of our citizens,” Radda declared, emphasizing the APC’s dedication to fairness and accountability.
Deputy Governor Faruq Lawal Jobe, chairing the election planning committee, highlighted the administration’s strides in health, education, and agriculture. He also announced a N9 billion grain distribution initiative for Ramadan and plans to provide fertilizers to farmers ahead of the rainy season, ensuring food security and agricultural sustainability.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari, a distinguished attendee, called on leaders to prioritize transparency and accountability, underscoring their role in maintaining public trust.
Political heavyweights, including former Governors Aminu Masari and Ibrahim Shema, as well as senators and House of Representatives members, lauded Radda’s leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to Katsina’s progress and APC’s success.
As Katsina prepares for these critical elections, the unity displayed by the APC leadership signals a strong push for democratic integrity and development across the state.
