In a determined push against insecurity, troops of Forward Operating Base Anka, under the 1 Brigade of the Joint Task Force North West Operation Fansan Yamma, have neutralized two terrorists during a fighting patrol in Bambaran Village, Anka Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The operation, conducted in collaboration with the Zamfara State Community Protection Guard (ZSCPG) and local vigilantes, led to the recovery of critical weapons, including a PKT machine gun, an AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and three rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
This successful mission highlights the robust synergy between the military and local security forces, further strengthening the fight against terrorism in Zamfara and across the North West region.
Operation Fansan Yamma remains steadfast in its mission to safeguard lives and restore peace, with continued efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and secure communities.
