Katsina State was gripped by fear last night as bandits launched two separate attacks in Funtua and Dandume LGAs, leaving residents in shock.
In the Unguwar Dahiru area of Funtua, the attackers wounded two people and abducted at least 10 individuals, including men and women, in a brazen nighttime assault.
Barely an hour earlier, bandits blocked a road near Jarumai in Dandume LGA, kidnapping two travelers and making away with their motorcycle.
These back-to-back incidents highlight the growing insecurity in the region, with communities calling for urgent government intervention to curb the relentless attacks.
