MHWUN Cries Out On Non Implementation Of Pension Increment

The Katsina State Council of the Medical and Health Workers of Nigeria has expressed concern over the non implementation of the Pension increment for the retired Health Workers in the state.

State Secretary of the Union Comrade Sani Yusuf Saulawa made this expression in an exclusive interview with newsmen in Katsina.

The Secretary said the non implementation of the increment in pension by the state government had made the supposed beneficiaries relentless.

Comrade Sani Saulawa added that implementing such incentive will lead to the boosting of commercial activities of the retired workers and the State in general.

He explained that, the Union had been intimating relevant Ministry and agencies pursuing a circular since 2020 regarding the increment, but up till now to no avail.

Comrade Sani Saulawa however pointed out that the Union now regarded the Radda administration with humility and hope for quick action on the implementation of the increment.

He applauded the state government for its agility in the improvement of the life of the common man.
