Comptroller of Immigration Service (CIS) Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, was celebrated as the Best Law Enforcement Officer at the 6th Security and Emergency Management Awards (SEMA 2024) held at the Defense Headquarters in Abuja.
The prestigious accolade, presented by the Security and Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), highlights Mahmoud’s groundbreaking contributions to immigration services and border security.
Widely regarded as the most innovative CIS in Nigeria, his leadership has significantly transformed the Katsina State Command.
Among his notable achievements is the establishment of a robust information gathering unit, alongside the provision of mobility for Divisional Immigration Officers (DIOs), particularly in frontline local government areas. These efforts have resulted in enhanced service delivery and a fortified border security framework.
