Tension reached a boiling point in Jerusalem as families of Israeli captives held in Gaza staged a dramatic protest outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.

According to the Hebrew-language newspaper Israel Hayom, the demonstrators called for an urgent prisoner swap deal with Gaza’s resistance groups to secure the immediate release of their loved ones.

Chanting slogans and carrying signs pleading for government action, the protesters urged Netanyahu to prioritize the deal, warning against further delays. “Every moment counts,” one demonstrator said, emphasizing the growing frustration among families over the prolonged negotiations.

The protest reflects rising pressure on Israel’s leadership as talks over the exchange deal reportedly remain stalled.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest the potential swap could involve hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the captives, a proposal that has sparked heated debate within Israeli political circles.

As the families vow to continue their protests until a resolution is reached, all eyes are now on Netanyahu’s next move amid the growing domestic and international spotlight.
