“Our efforts are yielding results,” he noted, citing the return of farmers to their lands, reopening of schools, and the revival of local businesses. “Nigerians can now sleep peacefully, thanks to your dedication and sacrifices.”

Badaru highlighted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s trust in the Armed Forces, praising their perseverance and professionalism.

He revealed that the President had equipped the Air Force with advanced platforms, including the T129 Attack Helicopter and unmanned aerial vehicles, to boost their operational capabilities.

“With these state-of-the-art assets, I am confident we will make Mr. President and Nigerians proud,” he declared, urging synergy between air and ground forces to maximize the effectiveness of these combat enablers.

The Minister’s visit extended to Sokoto, where he assessed the combat readiness of Air Force platforms and inspected the site for a new permanent base at Sokoto Airport.

This base, part of a broader strategy to intensify military operations, reflects the government’s determination to dismantle terrorist networks and ensure long-term peace in affected regions.

Badaru’s message to the troops was clear: “With commitment and resilience, we will defeat banditry and terrorism.”
