The Chairman of Rano Local Government, Muhammad Ñaziru Yau, has reaffirmed his dedication to supporting Quranic education in the region.
His commitment includes enhancing Quranic recitation competitions, building the capacity of teachers, and providing essential facilities for Islamiyya and Tsangaya schools.
Muhammad Ñaziru Yau made this announcement while receiving the leadership of the Islamiyya and Tsangaya Schools’ Union.
He expressed his desire for these schools to continue their valuable role in shaping the future of the children in the community.
Naziru Yau urge them to pray for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria and Kano State, and also to continue instilling strong moral values in our children,
Earlier, Malam Yusuf Zangina, Chairman of the Union of Tsangaya and Islamiyya School Teachers, congratulated the newly elected Chairman and called on him to address the challenges faced by these schools.
He expressed confidence that the Chairman, as a respected Islamic scholar, would support the growth and development of Quranic education in the region.

The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between the local government and Islamic educational institutions to strengthen and improve the quality of education for the children in Rano.
