Troops Retrieve Stolen Cattle from Suspected Lakurawa Terrorists in Sokoto State

Troops from the 1 Brigade and 1 Battalion mobilized swiftly to Kalgo village in Sokoto State after reports indicated the presence of suspected Lakurawa terrorists in the area.

According to intelligence sources, the suspected terrorists fled upon noticing the advancing troops, leaving behind 38 rustled cattle. The operation, directed by the Commander of 1 Brigade, concluded without any resistance.

The recovered cattle have since been returned to their rightful owners in Mera village, located in Kebbi State’s Augie Local Government Area.
