Katsina’s NSCDC, IPMAN Task Force Partner Against Fuel Fraud

In a strong push to combat illegal petroleum trade and product adulteration, the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC hosted a pivotal meeting with the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria IPMAN National Task Force.

The visit, led by IPMAN’s Katsina Coordinator, Alhaji Ado Garba, marks a significant collaboration aimed at enhancing security and integrity in the petroleum sector across the state.

State Commandant, Commandant of Corps Jamilu Abdu Indabawa, warmly welcomed the IPMAN Task Force delegation, assuring them of full NSCDC support.

During the meeting, Alhaji Garba praised the NSCDC’s commitment to security and safety, emphasizing the Task Force’s mission to work closely with the NSCDC and other agencies in sharing credible intelligence and executing joint operations to eradicate petroleum-related malpractice.

Appreciating the Task Force’s efforts, Commandant Indabawa outlined new strategies his team has introduced to curb illegal practices in petroleum handling, reaffirming the NSCDC’s commitment to a safer Katsina.
