… COMMISSIONS SOLAR STREET LIGHTS IN GARBA-CHEDE.

In a continued efforts to electrify the whole Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Jafaru Yakubu (ADC), who is the House Committee Chairman on Nigeria-China Relations has flagged off the rural electrification and extension of 33KVA line from Sunkani to Garba-Chede in Taraba state
The Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas actively represented by the Deputy Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hamma Adama Abdullahi has during the event highlighted the importance of electricity in the economic growth of the communities.
The deputy speaker also urged the contractors to effectively extend the light in all nooks and cranies of Garba-Chede town for everyone to have access to electricity.
According to him, “the ongoing electrification and the already installed solar street lights have become a true sign of his concerns over issues affecting his concerns”.
In his speech, Hon. Jafaru Yakubu expressed his commitment and readiness to bring more developmental projects in Garba-Chede. Adding that the people of Garba-Chede should continue to support and pray for him as he tends to start more initiatives that will empower all the constituents.
While responding, Hon Mustapha Musa appreciated the Member for his immense efforts of connecting Garba-Chede to National Grid. Saying that for over 30 years, people have been in darkness, living without electricity that will improve their lives and business.
Finally, he therefore, on behalf of the good people of Garba-Chede passed vote thanks to the Member for the kind gesture rendered.
The event was graced by the PDP State Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, Hon. Veronica Alhassan represented by Malam Habila Bala Balasa. Special Assistant to Governor on Media and Digital Communication Hon Emmanuel Bello, Jafaru Yakubu Campaign Council Chairman, Alhaji Uba Sanda among other dignitaries were in attendance at the occassion.
