In a significant move to uplift internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable groups in Katsina, the Katsina State Social Investment Programme Agency (KASIPA) has formalized a partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC). This collaboration was sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by Dr. Mudanssir Nasir, KASIPA’s Executive Director, and IRC’s Katsina Manager, Mr. Matthew Attah Onoja.
The signing event, held at KASIPA’s office and attended by key stakeholders, underscored Governor Radda’s commitment to supporting individuals affected by armed banditry and other challenges.
Dr. Nasir highlighted the Agency’s dedication to partnering with NGOs and individuals passionate about uplifting the state’s vulnerable communities.
He praised Governor Radda for his unwavering support, which has enabled the agency’s achievements so far.
Meanwhile, Mr. Onoja noted that the IRC’s ongoing humanitarian initiatives across Katsina, Batagarawa, and Batsari Local Governments stand to benefit greatly from the MoU.
The expanded programs aim to deliver further assistance to communities grappling with security challenges, thanks to this strategic partnership and the support of the Katsina State Government.
