The adolescent girls Initiative for learning and Empowerment AGILE has flag off tree planting campaign in Gusau the state capital,
Speaking during the program The state coordinator AGILE zamfara state Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdu Gusau represented by Mallam Nasiru Mai Nassarar said the establishment of this tree plantation in our schools especially female schools, because we to know the values of trees even in their houses.
She said the plantation tree camping is one of the 12 cardinal koprograms introduced to our schools for the benefit of our teeming girls especially those are in school now, the benefiting schools areG G D SS samuru GGA D SS Gusau and GG D Tudun wada.
in her remark during the exercise the chairperson secondary management board Haajiya Kulu Ibrahim Na’ala said tree planting is among the acts which God rewarded abundantly, according to her the tree planting it has numerous advantages to the human being especially in the school.
In his address the chairman zamfara state universal basic education board Professor Nasiru Garba Anka, said the AGILE program is commendable, it’s relevant to the UBE mission for tree planting in all schools across the state.
Professor Nasiru Garba urged to the students to implementing this program till their house’s not only in school’s there’s need a tree, every where you are, you need a shelter to rest.
