In a significant boost to education, Alhaji Sani Abdu Ungogo, Interim Management Officer of Ungogo Local Government, has inaugurated 70 BESDA (Better Education Service Delivery for All) teachers.
The ceremony, held at the Ungogo Local Government Secretariat, drew community leaders, education officials, and stakeholders, all rallying behind the initiative.
Alhaji Sani Abdu Ungogo underscored the critical role these teachers will play in elevating education standards, especially in underserved areas.
Honorable Sani Adamu Wakili, Member of the House of Representatives, praised Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to the BESDA program and urged the new teachers to collaborate with local authorities for educational excellence.
Chairman of COCAS, Alhaji Sammani Zango, pledged unwavering support for the program, highlighting the local government’s dedication to providing necessary resources.
Stakeholders lauded the efforts of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in enhancing teacher welfare and expanding access to quality education across the state.
