Ahead of the 2027 general elections, youths and concerned citizens of Katsina Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Saulawa, widely known as Wada Protocol, urging him to play an active role in shaping the political future of the state.
In their appeal, the group praised Saulawa’s sterling record of service, citing his years as protocol officer to the late President Umar Musa Yar’adua and as Director General of Protocol under former Governor Aminu Bello Masari. They also recalled his distinguished career as a Permanent Secretary in the Katsina State Civil Service.
The citizens stressed that Saulawa’s unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, and youth empowerment makes him a rallying point for the younger generation. They particularly applauded his role in initiating youth empowerment programmes during the Masari administration, which they said transformed lives and improved standards of living.
“With his track record of service and passion for youth development, Wada Protocol remains the kind of leader Katsina needs as we approach 2027,” the group declared.
They appealed to Saulawa to heed their call, assuring that his involvement would inspire confidence among the people and energize the youth to unite behind him for meaningful change.
