Some Stakeholders from various political parties in the thee senatorial districts of Nasarawa State have urged Abubakar Abdullahi Giza, popularly known as Abu Giza to come out and contest for Nasarawa State governorship in 2027.
The three Senatorial Districts of the state took the decision after their Extra Ordinary Meeting (EOM), in Lafia on Saturday.
Spokesman of EOM is Alhaji Mustapha Ogashi Doma, who is from Nasarawa Southern Senatorial Zone and one of the chieftains of All Progress Congress (APC) in the state told newsmen that Abu Giza is the the right and competent person to succeed the incumbent Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr.Abdullahi Sule in view of his wealth of experience in the federal civil service.
The group noted that if Giza eventually emerged as the governor of Nasarawa State, he will bring his experience to bear with the mandate given to him.
He will exploit the agricultural and mineral resources deposits abounds in the state left untapped around the state.
He will also launch nasarawa state to an industrial hub by changing it’s economic status in national and international map with a view to taking it to the greatest height.
“It is for these reasons that we asked Abu Giza to come out and contest for the 2027 governorship.
“This is because he touched many lives through his philanthropic gesture across the state and even beyond during his sojourn in the Federal Service.
“He is the man who secured employment and empowered many youths both male and female, he has been upsetting medical bills for people treated of different ailments and award scholarships to indigent students across the state”
“Abu Giza emancipated many people from hunger and poverty through his skills acquisition and empowerment programmes as well as discouraged youths from committing all form of criminalities.
“This is the type of aspirants we want to put forward for the 2027 gubernatorial race devoid of any religious, ethnic, geo-political or primordial affiliations” the group said.
When contacted over the development, Abu Giza said that he has no choice over what people asked him to do.
“I am on current on contact and wider consultations with people to see where we can arrive.
” I left everything with God but I thanked the good people of Nasarawa State for the clarion call for pointing at me to come out and contest for governorship.
“I also thanked my good people for recognizing me and appreciating my contributions to the society ”
The Citizenship Media recalled that Abu Giza is Chiroman Giza in Keana Local Government is a Philanthropist per excellence,a grassroots politician and mobilizer and a seasoned federal civil servant who secured employments for many youths across the state in different Ministries Department and Agencies (MDAs) before his exit from the service.
He pledged that he will continue to do good things for his people, he said though he is retired, but that is not an end pointing out that he is embarking on new journey that will bring more fruits to the people.
Abu Giza cooperate with one another and cautioned youths to shun money bag politicians who always use “Divide and Rule Tactics” among people with a view to satisfying their selfish interest.
