Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State has signed into law the Katsina 2022 Appropriation Bill of over 340 Billion Naira.
The signed bill is less than 17 billion Naira from the initial 340 billion Naira earlier proposed and presented to the House by the Governor on the Wednesday 17th November this year.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Tasi’u Maigari Zango while presenting the appropriation bill documents to the Governor at the Council Chamber of the State Government House announced that the budget suffered modest adjustment after careful study by the house.
This as a result he said was decreased to over 323 Billion Naira as against over 340 Billion Naira earlier presented.
The capital expenditure now stands at 223 billion Naira representing 68 percent with recurrent expenditure stands at over 100 billion Naira representing 30 percent of the total budget.
This is against the over 238 billion Naira capital expenditure and over 102 billion recurrent expenditure of the total budget and capital expenditure representing 69.85% and 30.15% respectively of the total budget.
